Batch Winery

Batch Winery stands on one of Waiheke's highest points, with the vineyard falling away on all sides and views that take in the Hauraki Gulf, the Auckland skyline and the Coromandel beyond. It is a working winery that turns over to weddings once the cellar door winds down for the day. Couples marry out on the lawn beside the outdoor bar, then move through to the Greenhouse and Terrace for dinner and dancing. The three spaces suit anything from an intimate gathering up to a seated reception of one hundred and ten, and the restaurant closes to the public in the late afternoon so the celebration has the place to itself. Wait staff, glassware and a private bar come as part of the booking, and the food and wine are all made on the estate.
