Tongariro Lodge

Tongariro Lodge is a country lodge wedding venue on Grace Road at Turangi, set across 22 acres on the banks of the Tongariro River near the southern end of Lake Taupo. Long known as a fishing lodge, it also hosts weddings in its riverside grounds. Couples can marry in the lodge's chapel or in a garden ceremony among the grounds, then celebrate with a reception for up to 110 guests, with a marquee available for larger groups. Catering is provided in house, from buffet and a la carte menus to canape and cocktail receptions, and a coordinator helps arrange the wider day. Guests can stay on site in the lodge's accommodation. It suits couples after a relaxed riverside setting in the central North Island.
