Bangor Farm

Bangor Farm sits on the edge of Darfield, half an hour west of Christchurch, across fifty acres of park with old oaks, redwoods and ponds and a view to the Southern Alps. The drawcard is The Deer Shed, a rustic barn split into several rooms. The Barn Room seats up to 200, the Gallery works for indoor ceremonies or dining, and the Auction Room handles speeches with sound gear and a projector. Outdoors there are pews for a ceremony under the trees and space for a marquee. Couples book the whole property exclusively and choose their own professional caterer. It is a BYO venue with no corkage or fees, which keeps the celebration flexible. Accommodation is off site in Darfield.
