Blythcliffe

Blythcliffe is a historic homestead in central Akaroa, one of the town's premier bed and breakfast homes, offering weddings in extensive private gardens that date back to 1857. Native forest, a stream and woodland glades sit within a short walk of the beach and restaurants. A marquee on the flat lawn takes celebrations of up to 130 guests, with a woodland glade for the ceremony. The owners come from film and theatre design backgrounds and offer creative help with styling the day. Venue hire includes three rooms, two doubles in the main house and a self-contained courtyard apartment, so the wedding party can stay on site. Breakfast comes with the stay.
