Eagles Nest

Eagles Nest is a collection of five luxury villas spread across a private 75 acre headland at Tapeka Point, just north of Russell, with the Bay of Islands laid out on both sides. It is a stay-and-celebrate venue where the wedding and the accommodation are one and the same. Most celebrations centre on Rahimoana, the presidential villa that sits at the very tip of the headland with 360 degree views. It takes up to 60 guests for a seated banquet or around 100 for a cocktail reception, with ceremonies held outdoors against the ocean and islands. A dedicated wedding coordinator works through the planning, and private chefs handle the food on site. Because the villas are booked privately, the day stays exclusive to you and your guests. The setting is the draw here, a quiet clifftop with water in every direction, well away from any passing crowd.
