McGrath Estate

McGrath Estate is a farm property at Waitakere, about forty minutes from central Auckland, built around a red barn and open country. The rural setting keeps the day grounded and unfussy. Ceremonies run at several outdoor spots on the estate, and the red barn takes the reception, seating up to a hundred and twenty or holding two hundred standing, with a marquee site as an alternative. A farmhouse is on hand for the wedding party to get ready in. Catering runs through the estate's chosen caterer or approved food trucks rather than a free choice, and couples get exclusive use of the grounds. It suits couples after a country barn wedding with the whole farm to themselves.
