Rocky Creek Wedding Venue & Accommodation

Rocky Creek is a working farm turned wedding venue near Fox Glacier, spread over about 100 acres with the Southern Alps as a backdrop. It is built for one wedding at a time, so couples get the run of the place rather than sharing it with other events. Ceremonies are held outdoors on the airstrip or out in the paddock, and the party moves into The Old Hangar for the reception. The hangar is a 113 square metre space with a handcrafted bar, the Ag's Parlour lounge and its own bathrooms, and the venue takes up to 120 guests. Catering is bring your own, which keeps things flexible for couples who want their own caterer or a more relaxed spread, while the bar is run on site. Accommodation is part of the property, with the Shepherd's Hut, a set of mountain pods and the farmhouse guest rooms sleeping up to ten between them. There is a barrel sauna for six to unwind in over the weekend.
