Te Motu Vineyard

Te Motu is a family vineyard in the Onetangi valley, with The Shed restaurant at its heart and rows of vines running out from the cellar door. It has been growing grapes on Waiheke for decades, and the setting is unfussy and rural. Couples marry among the vines, then gather in The Shed, which seats up to ninety under its covered outdoor space, or in the cellar door courtyard for a smaller group. A stretch tent and an indoor room keep the weather at bay, and the restaurant caters the day from canapes through to a three course dinner. Full privatisation of the estate is available for couples who want the whole place to themselves. Packages start from around five and a half thousand dollars for a midweek celebration. It suits couples after an easygoing vineyard wedding in the middle of Waiheke wine country.
