The Hunting Lodge

The Hunting Lodge sits on an eighty acre estate in the Waimauku wine country, west of Auckland, built around a striking white barn and a restaurant and lawn bar. The vineyards and the west facing views give the grounds their character. Ceremonies take place across the estate, with several outdoor settings to choose from, and the barn takes the reception with its white timber walls, polished concrete and high ceilings, seating up to a hundred and sixty eight or holding two hundred and fifty standing. The barn is the couple's for the day. Menus are designed to suit each wedding, from grazing and walk and fork through to plated dinners. It suits couples after a relaxed but polished barn wedding on a working wine estate.
