The Orchard Garden

The Orchard Garden is a garden cafe and function centre set among old orchard trees between Clyde and Alexandra in Central Otago. An old fruit packing shed, lined with mud brick and corrugated iron, has been converted into the main events space while keeping its rustic character. Ceremonies are held around the grounds, with a favourite spot at the centre of a large macrocarpa maze beneath a scarlet oak. The packing shed seats up to around one hundred and twenty guests, with the garden and cafe adding further space. It suits couples after a relaxed, leafy Central Otago setting a short drive from both Clyde and Alexandra.
