Turanga Creek

Turanga Creek is an organic vineyard at Whitford, a short drive from Auckland's eastern suburbs, set in a quiet natural bowl with seven different viewpoints across the grounds. The vines, the lake and the bush give the day plenty of variety. Couples marry beside the vines under a custom wooden arch, or down by the lake, with an indoor room kept as a wet weather option. The reception fills the main room, a space of macrocarpa and redwood with large windows framing the views, seating from around thirty up to a hundred and twenty. Catering is done in house, and the venue publishes its per person and venue hire pricing openly. It suits couples who want an intimate vineyard wedding close to the city with the numbers laid out up front.
