Curator's House
Curator's House is a Tudor-style building on Rolleston Avenue, tucked into the Christchurch Botanic Gardens beside the Avon River. It runs as a restaurant and doubles as an elegant, central wedding venue. Weddings use a mix of intimate dining rooms and an enclosed garden courtyard, with couples able to hold all or part of the ceremony on site. The surrounding Botanic Gardens make an obvious setting for photographs. Food and service are handled in house, with canapes and champagne through to a full seated meal. The heritage character and central location are the draws.
