Fable Terrace Downs Resort

Fable Terrace Downs Resort is a high country retreat at Windwhistle, set near the Rakaia Gorge with Mt Hutt on the horizon. It is a golf and country resort that runs weddings across several indoor and outdoor spaces. Couples can choose settings such as the gorge outlook, a shaded spot on the golf course, the cafe with its stone fireplace or the helipad lawn with lake and mountain views. Larger receptions move into the resort's main dining room, which takes up to 140 guests. Catering and bar are handled in house, and there is accommodation on site for the wedding party and guests to stay over. The team offers reduced rates for winter and mid-week weddings.
