The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs

The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs sits high on the Tepene Tablelands above Matauri Bay, a luxury lodge and golf resort with three private beaches and long views out across the Pacific. It is one of Northland's best known destination wedding venues, run by Robertson Lodges and now managed by Rosewood. Ceremonies and receptions can be held outdoors on the clifftops or under a marquee, with the Pink Beach and Front Lawn marquees each taking up to 120 guests. Smaller dinners work in the lodge itself, and the main dining room seats around 65. Catering is done in house by the lodge kitchen. The property has 26 suites and cottages sleeping up to 52, and wedding guests are asked to stay on site, so a celebration here effectively takes over the lodge. The team builds each wedding to suit, from an intimate elopement to a full buyout. It suits couples after a private, high-end coastal wedding with championship golf, a spa and somewhere memorable for everyone to stay.
