Waingarara Valley

Waingarara Valley is a rural wedding and events venue on Stanley Road at Wainui, a scenic 15 minute drive east of Ōhope Beach in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. It sits in a private little valley on a working farm, looking out over the countryside and Waingarara Creek. The heart of the venue is a rustic log cabin with an expansive covered deck, so the day works in any season and any weather. Couples can hold the ceremony out in the paddocks and move to the cabin and deck for the reception, with room for up to 150 seated or around 200 standing. Catering and drinks are yours to arrange. You bring your own caterer and the venue supplies the tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and a food prep area with power, water and chillers, along with a full bar. Owner Karen also offers floral work if you want it. It suits couples after a relaxed country wedding with a bit of privacy, close to Ōhope and Whakatāne.
