Zatori Lodge

Zatori is a retreat and wedding venue on elevated grounds above the estuary at Collingwood, out at the far end of Golden Bay. The private setting looks over the water and the hills, and the team hosts everything from two person elopements to celebrations of up to 200 guests. Couples get the grounds to themselves. There is a big lawn with room for a marquee, a lounge and a wide deck, and ceremonies can run inside or out. For elopements the team can pull the whole thing together, right down to the champagne. Tracey Walker owns the retreat and is a registered marriage celebrant, so she can marry couples on site or somewhere else around Golden Bay, whether that is a quiet beach or a mountain top. The venue is fully licensed and can cater in house, or couples can bring their own chef and use the kitchen. Small wedding packages include two nights accommodation on site, with more rooms available for guests. Published rates start at $2,000 for an elopement, with small weddings from $13,000 in winter and $15,000 in summer. Larger weddings are quoted on request.
