3 Little Words

3 Little Words sits on Dry River Road in rural Martinborough, a lunch and events venue with a wedding lawn that looks out over the vines to the mountain ranges beyond. It has a relaxed, unhurried feel rooted in the Wairarapa landscape. Ceremonies are held outdoors on the lawn, or as a candlelit evening ceremony, with a Mediterranean style covered courtyard for warmer month dinners of up to eighty seated. In winter the restaurant hosts smaller groups of around thirty, and cocktail style events can run to a hundred guests. Food is made from scratch using local produce, and wine comes from neighbouring Coney Wines at a discount rather than by the bottle from home. The bar closes at midnight. There is no accommodation on site, so guests stay in Martinborough village nearby.
