Lacewood

Lacewood is the wedding venue at Tuhitarata Estate on Kahutara Road in the South Wairarapa, a rural stretch of country south of Featherston. An 1860s homestead and a restored barn sit among formal gardens and rolling fields. The estate can host up to 200 guests, with a garden ceremony space and the barn for the reception. The parklike grounds give plenty of room for photographs and for guests to move between spaces across the day. As well as weddings the venue takes corporate events, functions and celebrations. It presents itself as an elegant setting with a sense of authenticity and natural beauty.
