Anam Cara Gardens

Anam Cara Gardens is an exclusive use garden venue at Otaki on the Kapiti Coast, set across ten acres of gardens arranged as nine themed rooms. Forest paths, orchards, rose gardens and open lawns give couples plenty of settings to move through. There are six different ceremony spots, from the Rimu Grove to the Citrus Grove and the Pepper Tree, with a modern function room, bar and dance floor for the reception. The venue seats up to 120 for dinner, with a covered gazebo as a backup, and no other event runs on site once your day begins. Catering is external, drawn from a set of partner caterers working out of an on site commercial kitchen, and alcohol is BYO with no corkage. Accommodation across a villa, an apartment and a groom's quarters sleeps around eighteen. Published packages run from $7,500 in the low season to about $10,750 at peak.
