Cape Estate

Cape Estate is a farm wedding venue on Gordon Road at Te Awanga, set across paddocks that look out over the vines and the coastline near Cape Kidnappers. It is a do-it-yourself sort of place, built for couples who want to bring in their own caterers, drinks and style and put their own stamp on the day. There are several ceremony spots to choose from, a rustic barn for a sit-down inside, a covered front patio and a big marquee lawn that runs out towards a pair of grass tennis courts. Add in a swimming pool, room for food trucks and lawn games, and no set curfew, and the property gives plenty of scope for a relaxed farm celebration. The estate is under new ownership, run by Fox and Amy, who are happy to talk through plans with couples. Being a blank-canvas venue, couples supply their own catering and alcohol, which keeps costs flexible.
