Church Road Winery

Church Road is one of New Zealand's oldest wineries, set on Church Road in Taradale a few minutes from central Napier. Winemaking has gone on here for more than a century, and the historic buildings and gardens have made it a long-standing choice for Hawke's Bay weddings. Ceremonies can be held in the garden, which then doubles as the spot for drinks and canapes. Inside, couples choose between the Tom McDonald Cellar and the smaller Tiffen Room, with the Wine Museum, terrace and portico as further options depending on the season and the weather. Food and wine are handled on site by the Ortons hospitality team, matched to the Church Road labels. The grounds and old winery architecture give plenty of scope for photographs. Receptions run to around 120 guests seated.
