Lansdowne House

Lansdowne House is a grand old wedding house in Masterton, full of wood panelling, chandeliers, polished floors and antiques. It leans into a vintage style, and hosts weddings across its ballroom, drawing rooms and gardens. The ballroom, lit by a dozen chandeliers, seats more than 120 comfortably and the house is licensed for 150. Outside there is a brick courtyard with a water feature, a rose arbour and gazebo, and manicured lawns crossed by an arched bridge and pond for ceremonies and photographs. Accommodation on site includes two honeymoon suites, a further bedroom and a separate three bedroom villa in the grounds. Published venue hire runs from $2,000 to $3,500 plus GST depending on guest numbers, with per person catering on top and setup fees for ceremonies.
