The Old Church

The Old Church stands on Meeanee Road on the outskirts of Napier, a restored heritage building given over to weddings and events. The grounds, the church itself and a run of indoor spaces give couples plenty of options across a single site. Ceremonies are held in the courtyard or the church, then the main hall takes over for dinner with the conservatory alongside for dancing. The gardens are there for photographs and drinks between the two. It is a venue built for the whole day rather than just one part of it. Catering and drinks are handled on site by the Ortons hospitality team. The mix of old stonework, timber floors and garden settings suits couples after a bit of character without heading out into the vineyards.
