The Old Barn

The Old Barn is a restored nineteenth century barn set in twenty acres of Marlborough vineyard at Riverlands, about five minutes south of Blenheim. It runs as a dedicated function centre, so a wedding here has the run of the barn and grounds without sharing the space. The Main Stable Room is the indoor heart of the venue, seating around 50, and it opens out to the covered Barn Courtyard for another 50 or so under cover. When the guest list is bigger there is a marquee site on the lawn among the vines, and the couple can stay on in the Old Barn Loft apartment. Ceremonies, photos and the reception all happen on the one property, framed by the surrounding rows of vines and the Wither Hills beyond.
