Wither Hills

Wither Hills is one of Marlborough's landmark wineries, set among the vines on New Renwick Road in Burleigh, a few minutes from central Blenheim. The barrel hall is the drawcard for weddings, with vaulted arches and native timber ceilings rising over rows of wine barrels. It works just as well for a ceremony as it does for a sit-down dinner. Outside, the courtyard looks across rolling vineyard rows, framed by a bougainvillea pergola that suits arrival drinks and canapes. The tasting room and stone-arched pavilion give couples a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, and the winery takes weddings on an exclusive basis so the day is yours alone. Food and wine are handled in house by the cellar door and restaurant team, matched to the Wither Hills labels, and an events manager works with each couple from first enquiry through to the day itself. The venue caters for events of up to around 100 guests.
