The Summer House

The Summer House sits on a family farm in the hills above Atawhai, with views that sweep across Tasman Bay, Nelson city and out towards Abel Tasman and Farewell Spit. The Ridgeline Pavilion is the heart of the venue, backed by the Manuka Woods lounge and bar and open lawn for photos and games. Packages cover intimate weddings of up to 50 guests, grand celebrations for up to 130 and reception-only dinners for couples marrying elsewhere. Venue hire includes indoor dining, an outdoor lounge, furniture with 100 black chairs, glassware and cutlery, bar staff and an on-the-day coordinator. Catering is handled in house with menus tailored to each couple, and the drinks list leans on local producers. Styling consults and full wedding set-up are offered as priced add-ons, from $450 plus GST for a consult and $1,400 to $1,800 plus GST for set-up.
